Regensburg
Regensburg didn't seem real at all. There were too many upscale clothing shops. Restaurants were everywhere but there didn't seem to be a supermarket in sight. And I have never in all my life seen so many hair stylists in one place. But it wasn't a bad place and I spent a pleasant few hours wandering its mix of wide shopping boulevards and tiny cobblestoned back alleys, stopping for the occasional cold beer and noting, with a considerable amount of regret, that I would soon be leaving Germany.
